This delicious dip is hot and cheesy. It mimics spinach dip but has robust flavor from the seasoned collard greens and remnants of meat used to season your greens. The best part is that you can use pre-cooked collard greens or turnip greens that you have in the freezer or fridge. Serve it up with nacho chips or pita chips.
Ingredients
· 1 cup leftover cooked collard greens with meat remnant chunks and pot likker (optional)
· 8 oz block cream cheese, room temperature
· 2 Garlic cloves, crushed (may substitute garlic powder)
· 3 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella, sharp cheddar, Monterey jack)
· 1 c sour cream
· Oh My Soul! AP Seasoning and black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
1. In bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, seasonings, and cheeses
2. Add cooked collard greens
3. If thicker than preferred, add pot likker to thin out mixture
4. Pour into greased baking dish
5. Bake 350° until golden brown
