Lemon Pepper Wings

When life gives you lemons, make lemon pepper wings! This easy appetizer is crispy and delicious and the best part is that the wings are baked--not fried!

The best tip for making oven wings come out crispy is by setting the oven at a high temperature and flipping the wings over half way through the cooking process.

3 pounds chicken wings

2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

3-4 teaspoons corn starch

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon Oh My Soul! All-Purpose Seasoning www.dutchandrio@gmail.com/shop

Lemon Pepper Sauce:

1/2 c melted butter

1 tablespoon lemon zest

1/2-1 tsp. Oh My Soul!

1 heaping tablespoon of Lemon Pepper Seasoning

Instructions:

Pat wings dry. Pour in oil and massage into meat. Add the cornstarch and seasonings until wings are coated thoroughly.

Place wings evenly on a baking rack. Bake at 425°F for 40-60 minutes until golden brown and crispy (flip wings halfway through cooking). Also, try this recipe using your air fryer by setting fryer at 400 and cooking on one side for 12 minutes, turn over and cook another 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Brush on lemon pepper sauce and enjoy!
